Hermes opened their city centre Tech Hub in Leeds to attract top IT talent, and needed great technology to support this high ambition.

Hermes wanted to blow the roof off innovative office space right in the heart of Leeds city centre, right at the very top of a prestigious office building.

In order to attract the very best staff, as well to have an inspiring and engaging space for their clients and customers, their “tech hub” needed to be the best possible office and tech destination in the north east.

Coodart was engaged early, following a number of other successful projects with Hermes, to help ensure that the technology matched both the vision of the workplace designers, as well as the requirements of the Innovation team who would be showcasing the best technology that Hermes can provide to all of its customers.

Coodart worked very closely with display partner IIyama, to put together the best of all display solutions that matched with the wide variety of requirements that the space needed to deliver. Outdoor screens for summer events, large video wall canvases, digital signage and interactive meeting room solutions were all part of the extensive brief. That brief also included supplying the staff with large ultra wide monitors to deliver the very best productive desktop environment for developers.

Creating a complete showcase for digital signage, we also worked with Hermes to create bespoke content include drone footage of one of their huge delivery and sorting hubs. We also designed and delivered a huge rotating screen, ready for both signage and entertainment.

So successful was this space, and the value that it added for Hermes, that in less than a year, they doubled the space, and we were selected again to deliver the technology for this extension to the Tech Hub.
